Your Third Act Can be

the most exciting chapter in your life’s Story

IT’S YOUR TIME TO LIVE MORE CREATIVELY

embrace possibility.

UNEARTH YOUR DREAMS & Plan your next Transition.

REIMAGINE HOW YOU’LL LIVE, WORK, LOVE & SERVE.

DESIGN your "third act" - YOUR ULTIMATE CREATION

What's your story?

As we approach our late fifties and sixties, In the midst of the challenges and unimagined change felt around the world, and in each of our lives these past few years, we can find ourselves at a crossroad… an exciting turning point.

All of your life's experiences; the highs and the lows, the disruptions and transitions, shape how you see yourself and the world.

They become the stories you tell yourself and define who you are and what you believe. They shape what you think is possible in your life; what you can or can'tshould or shouldn't do.

Ultimately, they either fuel your life forward or hold you back.  Negative stories we tell ourselves have the power to thwart our dreams and our lives.  But it doesn't have to be this way.

Your "third act" can be the most meaningful, joyful chapter of all.

This is your time.

It’s your time to expand your life and design your life story’s most exciting chapter — your “third act.”

  • Dream it, try it, go for it. This is your time to unearth and chase your dreams and passions.

  • Reject the status quo, rise above your challenges, flex your resilience muscles and explore your life’s infinite possibilities. Release fear, welcome uncertainty, and leave limiting beliefs behind.

  • Unearth your “why,’ your internal GPS is fuel for your journey ahead. Understand "what" and "why" you feel called to pursue certain new and compelling experiences.

  • Refine and reinvent your life’s vision. Your true self is waiting to be unleashed.

It’s never too late to do those things that make your heart beat faster!

You have the experience and wisdom to live your life on purpose. Choose to be deeply engaged, connected and fulfilled in the decades ahead. Your life has been leading up to this moment.

“Old age” for our great-grandparents is now “middle-age” for ourselves. Within just a few generations, an extra 30 years have been added to our life expectancy.

What are you going to do with this gift of time.. your one wild and precious life?

With these extended decades of life, we have the opportunity to reinvent outdated, limiting versions of aging and “retirement” we may have internalized over the years.  There is a growing movement in the 50+ age group who are exploring and embracing more meaningful ways to live and give forward in their extended decades of life. Instead of stepping back; buying into a linear view of life and aging, people are stepping out of those limiting paths to design new and exciting ways to lead more engaged, purpose-driven "third acts."

When was the last time you dedicated time to design a plan for your whole life - how you live, work, love and serve?

I would love to support you to do just that.

Diana Dunbar Place - Founder

Leaps of faith.

Serendipity and Sychronicity and…

Holding on and rising strong from a roller-coaster mid-life.

My 35-year professional career includes: a decade in Boston with a leading international advertising agency; ten years with America Online (AOL-Time Warner) in the exciting early days of the internet that culminated in a role as senior vice president and; three entirely different entrepreneurial ventures. I co-founded Dunbar-Hunter & Associates, a cause-marketing firm (bridging corporations and nonprofits around a range of issues from aids, to homelessness, domestic violence and breast cancer), WonderBlink Photography, a dream I’d had since I was 14, and The Global Design Post, an online platform for designers.

Though each of these experiences was fascinating, remarkable and expanded my life and my mind, it is what happened around my business career — the little breadcrumbs that I followed — that have driven me, and were “calling” me all these years.  Throughout my life, I have taken on mentor/advisor roles as well as started several groups to serve and connect people. For a variety of reasons, I never put this personal passion front and center.  Until now.

In my late fifties, I found myself at an exciting transition point.  Despite the emotional challenges surrounding a cancer diagnosis and treatment, departure from my latest entrepreneurial venture, the unfamiliar preparations to becoming an empty nester as my daughter headed to college -- I was filled with deep gratitude, joy and reignited passion for this next phase of my life.

Third Act Quest is my way of living my passion to support, inspire and connect people as they create their “third act” of life, and helping to empower optimism versus fear and dread, and respect versus disregard and disfavor in our culture.

Just as eliminating negative bias in our culture on all levels is critical, we must stop defining people by their age.  Through Third Act Quest, I can contribute to this much-needed shift.

Through retreats, workshops, coaching, events, stories and community, I can help reframe the experience and perceptions of aging among people of all ages. Importantly as well, I want to help bridge understanding, connection, collaboration and mutual support between generations.

Our “third act” can be the most meaningful, engaged, important important time of our life. I am thrilled and feel enlivened to be focussing my energy here for my “third act” and hope to meet and speak with you.
