Say Yes to Your Creative Self"

an artist, teacher & radiant creative force who believes
that creating art is for everyone.
It’s a free zoom gathering for an inspiring, interactive,
fun & creative Zoom experience brought to you by the 333 Collective
"Every child is an artist. The problem is
how to remain an artist once we grow up."
Pablo Picasso
“Creativity is intelligence having fun.”
Albert Einstein
What you'll experience in this inspiring, revealing
hour with Heidi:
So many of us carry childhood stories that left us believing that we’re “not artistic!" —Heidi is here to gently (and joyfully) challenge that!
She believes creativity lives in all of us.
Making art is not just about making beautiful paintings, sculpture, music, or other physical product —
ALL creative activities are powerful tools that can:
stimulate mindfulness, flow, and enhance joy and well-being
explore self-expression, our emotions and the world around us
open up our imagination and curiosity
ease anxiety and depression
boost brain function and help prevent age-related mental decline.
During this interactive creative session….
we’ll hear Heidi’s story, explore our own creative journeys, and even experience a guided, live drawing experience—no skills or fancy supplies required.
What to bring:
Just bring a pencil and some paper, find some crayons (Heidi's favorite) or whatever you like to play with—colored pens, watercolors, etc.) and come ready to connect, reflect, have fun, and maybe even surprise yourself!

About this month’s Spotlight presenter,
Heidi Larson Hurley
Heidi spent years in the world of advertising, as a graphic artist in the Marine Corps, teaching art for 33 years in the Braintree Schools, post-retirement on BCAM TV in her "Creating & Exploring" series, and creating art (daily)!
In fact, during the pandemic that she truly opened hearts and helped keep us grounded and hopeful, sharing a drawing every day for 500 days. That powerful practice became a beautiful book, created to fundraise for student scholarships.
"Art enables us to find ourselves and
lose ourselves at the same time."
- Thomas Merton
