PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY

— THIRD ACT QUEST WEEKEND RETREATS —

Please take a moment to read through the Third Act Quest payment and cancellation policies below.  I will of course try to be as flexible as I can since I understand that life events sometimes necessitate a change of plans.  That said, I hope that you understand that as I need to pay in advance for venues, catering as well as to reserve participating experts, so there are limitations, especially for cancellations close to event dates.

 
 

To secure your spot for a Third Act Quest 3-day weekend retreat:

 
 

  • If you book within 60 days of a weekend retreat, we request payment in full on booking to secure your spot.

  • If you book a weekend retreat more than 60 days in advance, I ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit to reserve your place. If you pay a deposit, the balance of payment is due 60 days before the retreat. I’ll send a reminder when it’s due. Unfortunately, if we don’t receive the balance of payment, we may not be able to hold your place.

If you need to cancel:

 
 

  • If you have paid in full and need to cancel 60 or more days before the weekend retreat start date, the 50% deposit is non-refundable, but I will refund the balance. (the non-refundable 50% deposit can be maintained as a credit for a future retreat)

  • If you cancel within 60 days of a weekend retreat start date and have paid in full, I will try to fill your spot. If I am able to find someone, I will refund 50% of your fee and the remaining 50% will be maintained as a credit for a future retreat. Please note I cannot guarantee that we’ll be able to find someone to replace you, in which case I regret that I will be unable to provide a refund, but 50% will be maintained as a credit for a future retreat.

 
 

What happens IF Third Act Quest needs to cancel a retreat or event?

In this unlikely event, I will of course refund your payment in full immediately. 

Scholarship Discounts:

I have been asked about discounts and scholarship opportunities.  As Third Act Quest grows, it is my hope to provide scholarship discounts.  As well, I am planning a number of alternative workshops (one-day and online) that will be priced accordingly.  So please sign up for our mailing list to stay in the loop and to receive my “12 Gifts of your Third Act” free subscription.
